Free workshops for Year 10 & 11 students looking to explore competitive university pathways!
18 April- 2 May- 16 May
4.30pm – 6pm at Abbeygate Sixth Form College
What the workshops include:
18 April – Session 1.
Why consider a competitive university? What are they looking for, including
importance of super-curricular activities and what you can do now to start exploring.
2 May – Session 2.
The importance of achieving GCSE grades that enable you to access competitive
pathways. Looking at study/revision tips from our current students.
16 May – Session 3.
What’s next? Making level 3 choices that enable you to apply to competitive university
pathways, including looking at subject specific requirements/ other factors to consider
when choosing your A Levels.
In each session you will also be working in groups on super-curricular, critical thinking
tasks and communicating your ideas with others.
