Year 10 work experience!
West Suffolk Council want to support students in gaining meaningful work experience. Therefore, they are piloting a new programme specifically for year 10 students. The week will consist of interactive workshops, talks, activities and meeting lots of interesting people.
This will run over five days between Monday 7 July – Friday 11 July 2025. The programme will give students the opportunity to learn about the council as a whole and the services they deliver.
Students will learn about the career pathways they offer and how they align to their current studies, to help them make informed decisions about their future. They will also learn about the skills and behaviours required for the world of work, such as communication, team building, problem solving and self-confidence.
