We are thrilled to announce that on Friday, 27th June 2025, King Edward VI School will celebrate a momentous occasion—our 475th Anniversary! This landmark event marks nearly five centuries of world-class education, the development of thousands of young minds, and the growth of an enduring community spirit.
This special day will bring together our entire school community, including current students and staff, Governors, Old Burians, alumni, and some former staff, to honour our rich history and unwavering commitment to academic excellence for every child.
As part of the celebrations, we aim to make the occasion truly memorable by hosting a program of events, including providing a celebratory meal for all students and staff. To achieve this, we are working to raise £4,000 by 1st June 2025 and any funds that are raise over our target will be used to create memorabilia to celebrate with our students.
We are reaching out to the local community to ask for your support in making this vision a reality. Your generosity will play a vital role in ensuring this milestone celebration is as special as it deserves to be.
